Information Received
A name or location entered into a search widget is sent to the third-party provider operating that tool. Burke County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s handling rules apply once the query leaves the page.
Email messages or contact submissions are kept so a reply can be sent. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Details and Cookies
Normal page delivery can create technical records such as:
- IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring site, when supplied
- Access timestamps
Cookies and similar tools may help show how visitors use the service. Browser settings can block them, although parts of the service may act differently when they are disabled.
How Data Is Used
Information is used to keep the pages available, route a search to the intended partner, understand which sections help readers, find technical faults, and support relevant advertising. Data is not used to decide a person’s legal status or custody.
Links and Service Partners
The pages link to county rosters, booking feeds, sheriff and corrections offices, courts, federal locators, and outside search tools. Their privacy policies govern after a visitor follows a link. Some advertising partners may track activity across sites on their own systems. Their practices are not controlled by this service.

Personal data is not sold. It may be provided to the parties needed to run the service or respond lawfully:
- Search partners that handle submitted queries
- Analytics providers
- Advertising networks
- Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Security and Children
Reasonable security practices are used, but no internet-connected system is fully secure. No promise can be made that information will never be accessed improperly. The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. A parent or minor may request deletion of information submitted by a minor.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law, a person may ask to:
- Receive a copy of personal data held here
- Correct an inaccurate detail
- Request deletion
- Opt out of certain processing
Use the Contact page to make a request. A provider that receives a search query or a linked government agency may need to receive a separate request.
